Farm stuff

My little farmer

So helpful

Ready to unload the hay

Rooster: free to a good home

Today Noah and I had a really "farmy" morning. We spent the morning cleaning out the chicken pen. We replaced the hay and we made some nests for our hens to start laying their eggs in. Maybe they will get the hint and start to lay us some eggs. Out of the 6 baby chickens that Uncle Eric gave us, only 3 are hens. We are hoping to give away 2 of the roosters. The roosters have started to hassle the hens big time so if anyone wants a rooster please let us know. We will be more than happy to part with them. Noah was so helpful. Even when he was really hot and bothered he kept going.

The Latest

Noah has started to shrug his shoulders when you ask him a question. Even when he knows the answer he shrugs. Pretty cute.

New PJ's and he can look clean

And yes Noah did eventually fall off the change table while trying to pull off this ridiculous maneuver!

Don't speak too soon

Noah and I went to Northam today for some shopping and we also met up with Nanna Dee. Mum looked after Noah while I got some very important things done i.e. a facial. I bought Noah this Duplo aeroplane today because I felt sorry for him that he was sick and I guess I just wanted to spoil him because he is (despite what I write on here sometimes) a very good little boy. While I was constructing the plane on the lounge room floor I was explaining to Noah why I bought it for him "Mummy bought you this darling because I love you so much and you are such a good little boy" blah, blah, blah. While I was blabbering on about how wonderful he was Noah went into the kitchen and got busy. I must have been concentrating really hard on the Lego construction because I failed to notice.............................

Noah grab the pens out of our cupboard, I didn't even know he could reach them.

Noah put the lid back on

ooooooo wahhhhhh
These photos were taken in a reenactment. I asked Noah "how did this get on the floor?" And sure enough Noah ran through the process of how the floor got coloured in.
Moral of the story........
DON'T SPEAK TOO SOON

Baby no more

5 months ago I had a baby boy whom was always dressed beautifully, clean and never had snot coming out of his nose. Now I have a mini person who is always naked, always dirty and always snotty. Noah spends his days doing things that I use to think were funny when other people's kids did them. My little baby has grown up and I miss him dearly but would I ever go back?????? Not a chance. It is so true when people say it gets better and better. But seriously Noah you can keep your clothes on sometimes.

Out of sorts

We have been a bit out of sorts here. Noah came down sick last Sunday night and he has only just fully recovered today. His behaviour on Sunday and Monday was terrible so I should have known something was up. Noah always get naughty when he is coming down with something. He was feverish, emotional and tired. I was sympathetic towards him but it wasn't until Thursday lunch, when I got sick myself, that I realised just how terrible he must of felt. I know the word "flu" is often way over used but I can safely say that Noah and I had the flu and it was bloody nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway I am feeling much better now and it is so nice to be able to get up and back into things. The photo above shows just how miserable poor little Noah was. Fingers crossed that Richard doesn't get it because he is a man and no doubt he WOULD die from it.

Pee pee in potty

Last night I put Noah on the potty and he did a pee. I made the biggest fuss I possibly could about this huge milestone. I don't actually think he is ready for toilet training but we sometimes read books while he sits on the potty and last night he actually managed to do a pee. Noah and I took the potty (& the pee pee) outside to show Richard and we even took a photo. To those who really don't want to see a toddlers little pee or those that think photos are unnecessary I do apologise. I also sometimes let Noah run wild in our yard without a nappy on....... Yesterday I found a dirty little poo in is cubby house. EEEWWWWW

Nanna Dee visits

Cuddle time! I know Nanna won't be happy that I posted this, as she is holding a glass of wine, but I liked the photo.

Crazy time with Nanna

On the weekend Nanna Dee came to stay at our house. She stayed here Friday and Saturday night. The weekends always go too quick when she comes to visit. On Saturday we went out to visit my family in South Doodlakine. I wish I could see my Mum every weekend xxxx

"Noah no mates"

Our little neighbours Rohan & Campbell turned two on Tuesday. Today they had a cake at Playgroup and the cake was totally awesome. Rohan & Campell are twins. They have two older brothers so that is a total of four little boys living under the one roof. Rohan and Campell will be in the year group above Noah. No doubt there will be plenty of play dates in the near future.
It was nice to see all the Mums again at Playgroup.... and the kids of course.

Noah can get down from his cubby house now!!

He goes down the ladder the wrong way. It is scary to watch him.
Bucket of water over the head!!
