Some things you might not know about Noah

At two and three quarters Noah can run all the way up to the chook pen and back again.

He loves to make stuff with me now and he thoroughly enjoys Playgroup too.

He can count to 12 and he can say his ABC's up to 'G'; he hums along to the rest of the alphabet.

He went to church for the first time with Nanna Margaret last week. He took his pants off and did a poo under the alter.

He thinks farts and burps are hilarious.

Sometimes he says bad words. He is terrified that the Police will come to lock him up in jail if he continues to say them.

Sometimes he gives random kisses which I LOVE.

Noah is the DJ whenever we are in the car. He determines what we listen to and whether we can sing along or not. His favourite song is 'Sherry' by Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons. His singing is atrocious but I love listening to him.

He tells me everyday that he is a boy and he has a doodle. So does Daddy and Pop but Mummy doesn't.

His fav movie is Finding Nemo

Whenever we arrive somewhere he likes to get naked.

He loves anything to do with trains. He can hear motorbikes from kilometres away and he can name most types of vehicles.

He is happy to go with pretty much everyone and he is open to most new experiences.
He understands all about holidays and he gets excited if we mention that we might go on one. He is eagerly awaiting the Easter Bunny's arrival.

Some firsts for Noah

His first bicycle. Two weeks ago Nanna Dee surprised Noah with a brand new two wheeler bike, complete with trainer wheels and a push handle. Nanna Dee knew she had to buy the bike for her only grandchild when she saw it on sale at Kmart for $40. I had to buy him a helmet to complete the ensemble which ended up costing me nearly as much as the bike. The only catch...... the bike has to stay at Nanna's house in Perth. So far we have not yet had a tantrum when having to leave the bike behind. Fingers crossed he is happy to leave it behind again after this coming weekend in Perth.

It was so exciting he just had to take his clothes off!!!

His first time at having his face painted (only by me) and his first time at painting Mummy's face.

Hold still Mummy
His first official play date. Sure Noah has had friends over before but never without their Mum's coming over too. This whole experience caused major excitement for Noah. We had our little neighbor Rohan over for a planned play date and man did they cram a lot of activities in.
Like most children Noah went nuts for the first half an hour after Rohan arrived. He was squealing and showing off lots, he wasn't sure what to do with himself.
First time at Kellerberrin DHS (Mummy's old school). We went to Keller school yesterday for the Early Years Fun Day. Noah had a great time and it really was a trip down memory lane for me. The school is looking beautiful.

"Lets go fly a kite"

Over it!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday Richard decided that it was perfect kite flying weather. We asked Noah if he wanted to fly his kite; of course he said yes. We were out there for about 3 minutes before Noah said "I go home now". I took away 3 important points from yesterday's kite flying experience:
1. I am an exceptional kite flyer.
2. Richard is a terrible one and...
3. Our child is an indoors/computer/TV kinda kid.
I hope it is just a phase he is going through. He really is quite content being in his own yard and homely surroundings at the moment. It will break Richard's heart if Noah decides he no longer wants to do 'guy things' outside. Mind you Richard is not a bad TV watcher either.

Blonde for a week

I had my hair done last week and it is way too blonde/friggin yellow ahhhh. Not a fan of the two tone head either!! I hate the colour and I also hate the reaction it created amongst people who know me. Tomorrow I am off to another salon to go a bit darker again. I guess Mum was right when she told me not to mess around with hair colour. Mums always like their girls au naturel
