Noah Jon with Poppy John

Joel's 21st

My youngest cousin Joel just celebrated his 21st birthday. Last Friday night we all met up and had dinner in Perth to wish him a happy birthday. The meal was beautiful and it was great to see everyone. Happy 21st Joel!

Last week

Noah has discovered the Wiggles and loves them.

OK so who are you and what have you done with my two year old who normally hates eating dinner? Noah had a good run last week eating all his dinner most nights.

Noah @7:15am. It was about 1 degree outside. He ran off while I was trying to dress him and as the photos show...He didn't seem to feel the cold!

Party time

Today we had our families and a few friends over to help celebrate Noah's second birthday. Noah was again spoilt with gifts, love and affection from his extended family.

A birthday party would not be complete without a little sulk from the birthday boy!

Noah was exhausted after everyone left. He actually fell asleep standing up. Richard and I found him like this in the lounge room. It was pretty funny. It must be hard work trying to keep up with the big kids!!

I put Noah to bed tonight in our room as a special treat. I was amazed by how quiet he was being and how he didn't call out for me. Turns out the little monkey was chowing down on a killer python his father had stashed on his bedside table. Richard claims that when the Pinata was smashed open he grabbed the python and hid it in the bedroom so he could give it to Noah later. Obviously bedtime would not be the ideal time to give Noah a sugar fix. Noah had a grin from ear to ear when I eventually went in to check on him.

Sick

Not sure what is wrong yet but he is pretty sick. He has a roaring temperature so I am hoping he doesn't have tonsillitis again. He said he wanted to sleep in Mum's bed tonight! Hoping he perks up tomorrow otherwise we will be off to the doctors which I hate doing!

The best gift ever

The paddle pool with plastic balls from Nanna Den is a hit. It even went into the shower tonight to try and make him feel better. I managed to get one smile out of him...and a beautiful one at that!!!!

Nanna Den, Lyndal & baby Fin visit

Last Tuesday night we had a very special visit from Nanna Den, Lyndal and Fin. They came especially to see Noah for his birthday. It was so nice having them stay here. It has being great getting to know them all so much better. I am so happy to have them all in my life.....I guess good things do come from divorce. It is nice feeling knowing that both parents have found happiness and love again!

Little baby Fin is five months old and he is totally adoreable. He is such a placid well behaved little baby and he is so easy to love. He has the biggest most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen. Noah was not too sure about having someone smaller than himself in HIS house. Noah just pretended that Fin did not exist. The only time he paid him any attention was when he found out they were leaving Wednesday morning. He did however love all the attention and fun that Nanna Den lavished on him.

Lyndal & Nanna spoilt Noah with so many gifts for his birthday

My step sister Lyndal with her baby Fin

Check out the way he looks at Fin; almost like he is disgusted with him.

"If I ignore him for long enough will he disappear?"

"Get the baby out of my jeep NOW!"
