A birthday cake @ playgroup

Noah's second birthday falls right in the middle of the July school holidays. Playgroup breaks up over the school holidays so I decided to have Noah's birthday cake at playgroup last Thursday.

Probably the first and last time Noah will eat raw celery. He was not a fan!

OK so this photo may not seem relevant to anybody but to me it is highly significant. I was having great trouble using the cigarette lighter to light the candles. Must be because I am a NON-SMOKER these days. I have to say that I am pretty proud of myself for kicking the bad habit.

Noah got really shy when we sang happy birthday to him. You can see in this photo that he had his head down. He didn't know what to do the poor baby.
