Hanging out at home

Our Bonnie girl is getting older. I get so sad when I see her limp around when she first gets up from lying down. Time flies!!
Noah has been having lots of spas still.

Believe it or not we have actually been doing a fair amount of cooking. Noah is very eager to help out in the kitchen and I have got a bad case of the guilts since going to a Thermomix demo last weekend. I realised just how little I do cook in comparison to some other whizzes around here. If Richard buys me a Thermomix he will get better meals and more of them. He would be mad not to.
Taking photos like a mad woman.

He will make a dream husband one day and I will probably make the most interfering mother-in-law ever.

Noah was born with Asian eyes and still has them. He is kinda lacking an upper eyelid. My friend Sally pointed out that he still has his 'Asian eyes'.

Does everyone else have the problem of getting their kids into the bath and then again getting them out? We fight and negotiate every bloody night about bath/shower time. He should have worked it out by now that he HAS TO HAVE A BATH/SHOWER EVERY FRIGGING DAY.

Noah's Ark aka: upside down bowl and his menagerie of animals. BRAT
This is the latest and it is very cute. He even throws in a wink now too which is just gorgeous.

Has the Glitter Fairy ever visited your house?

With a little encouragement my child now tells lies GREAT!!!!!!! I asked him if he or the "Glitter Fairy" tipped four full bottles of glitter throughout the cubby house. Of course it was the Glitter Fairy. What a bad bad bad Fairy.

How do your children like to wake you up in the morning?

Richard woke up with stickers all over his face two days in a row last week. Pretty funny!

My dream office

Here are some photos of my new office. It is nice to finally have a space that I love being in. It is pretty essential that we have a good working office here as Richard is currently running two businesses from home and my Facebook habit requires ideal working conditions ha ha ha. I wish I could photograph it as a whole room but I don't have a lens that will allow me to do that yet, so you will have to bear with me as it is all photographed in sections.

My baby

I had to let Richard have some boy stuff in the office. Richard actually bought this Ned Kelly print with the quote "such is life" before Ben cousins made the quote famous by having it tattooed on his heavenly stomach.
Mess stored away
My old camera which served me so well. I can't begin to imagine how many photos it took and how many memories it captured over the last 3 years. See the bible next to it, that is for my new camera!!!
Noah's little art nook which is actually in our living area. I get so happy when he sits himself down to do something creative.

Gravel pit chaos

You know when you have an idea or vision in your head that just doesn't go quite to plan. Well here is a perfect example. Noah had Rohan over for a play and I thought it would be a real treat to take them to the gravel pit to play with their Tonka trucks. I envisioned myself relaxing in the sun, practicing taking photos of them while they played happily for ages. Well they whinged to go home after about two minutes there, Noah whinged that he couldn't climb the hills as good as Rohan could, they played with the Tonkas for about 20 seconds (managed to get one shot of Rohan playing with one), they whinged because they were hungry and then Noah even whinged that it was windy!!!! Not my idea of relaxation boys.

The boys doing a croppie

For the benefit of those that might not know.... A croppie is more commonly known as a crop inspection. Croppies are best at sunset because the crops look much better, Richard says that it is the optimal time to take the bank manager for a drive around your farm. It is also the best time for me to practice shooting into the sun.

Kid croppie

My heart nearly exploded that day

The cute little person wearing green right in the middle is my boy. As far as I am concerned there was only one kid in the race that day. I couldn't tell you who came first or if his friends were running alongside him. My focus was purely on Noah and boy did I get caught up in the moment.

Running so slow that he was almost stationary. I wasted my time bumping up my shutter speed on the camera.
Holding his ribbon. Noah came in second last but he is holding up his finger as if he came first. You are a winner in my eyes baby.

Elise and Dave visit

Last weekend my friend Elise and her boyfriend Dave drove from Perth to spend the night at our place. We had heaps of fun with them. David & Richard are pretty much on the same wave length (even though Dave is about one and half decades behind Richard in age) and Elise and I have being friends forever. They picked the right night to come visit as the Tammin Hockey Club was hosting a fun golf day at the golf club. Women dress as men and men well........ I'll let the photos do the talking.

Looking fierce Richard

I went as a Superfert sales rep obviously
Noah wanted in on the action too but no way was he gonna wear a dress. He was happy to settle for the pirate costume.

Pretty chuffed with the guns & motorbike
