3 short days at home

Noah and I are heading back to Perth tomorrow. I have only being back for 3 days so it seems mad to be heading back again tomorrow but oh well. Here's whats being going on here.

Noah hates having his photo taken but Noah loves the Wii. He IS a gaming master and extremely dedicated. He opted to endure a 2 minute photo session in exchange for Wii time.

I have received at least one flower from Noah everyday this week. After giving them he says "do flowers make you happy Mum?" If he is feeling super generous he gives hugs too and always says "cuddles make you happy don't they Mum." He has got me right where he wants me!!

We got a new pet Budgie which Noah named Bob (first budgie which was eaten by our cat was also called Bob). The new budgie (lets call him Bob 2 for convenience) was hand raised but he was no where near as friendly as our beloved Bob 1. He bit me really hard several times and was just all round terrified of humans. I thought stuff it, I'm taking him back. So off Bob 2 went back to the petshop. We are currently waiting on a phone call from the pet shop to let us know when they will have a new, FRIENDLY, hand raised budgie ready for us. In the meantime Noah fills the Budgie cage up with toys.

"Hey Noah, do you want some parmesan cheese on that?" 

 "Will it taste like balls?" 

"Wow Noah, you're the man!"

"Do you really think I'm the guy?"

After work on Tuesday Noah ran to meet me at our door and blurted out "We messed up the house all day and just cleaned it up when you were coming home."

He is forever saying "righto I'll do that" and "you have got to be kidding me".

My favourite thing he says at the moment is "will you sleep in my bed and give me cuddles all night?"

He talks with expression which I love.
