Margaret's 80th & John's 90th Birthday

On Saturday Margaret & John celebrated their birthdays. You will probably be able to see from the photos how fit & healthy they still are. We are so lucky to have them both so healthy and full of life. They are remarkable.

Margaret's first and only doll. It has been glued and taped together with that many different bonding agents over the years. Trust Margaret to still have it.

Cupcakes iced and decorated by my friend Lisa Mackin from the Gravel Road Pudding Company

Table runners made by my friend and neighbour from A Nicholl In Time

Their loot. Although they appreciate everything it really is impossible knowing what to get them.

Margaret with her brother Allan Rogers.

John with his younger brother Todd. On the right is Noah doing what he does now when ever I point the camera in his direction. I guess I had it coming!!!

 Todd & Morna

The large and very beautiful table centrepieces were made by my talented friend Margaret McNeil from
John's baptism card from 1923.

Margaret & John both did speeches.

Margaret made and decorated their cake. Margaret has been making and decorating fruit cakes since she was a young girl.

With her friend from school Joan & her sister-inlaw Jennifer.

Friends. Lyn on the right was Margaret's bridesmaid.

 Margaret with Marilyn

With Keith & Marilyn. Marilyn is Richard's cousin from the Wheeldon side.

Noah was the only child there and by 5pm he was a tad fed up. I really hope we squeeze out some more Grandchildren soon for Margaret & John.
