taking a leap

I am in the process of having some of my images printed to art gallery standard and framed, ready for exhibition. It is terrifying but also exciting. Having your images scrutinised by someone who knows a thing or two about photography scares the life out of me. I guess I still feel like a fraud in this business - I need the guidance, constructive criticism, or praise of industry professionals to feel valid; to feel like I have really earned my spot in the portrait taking business. No matter how great or how crap my images look in comparison to others entered isn't really that important to me - but the chance to receive feedback from the judges is important and something I will hopefully gain growth from.

I have been dealing with the nicest and most efficient guy for most of the afternoon. If anyone is interested in fine art prints then I highly recommend Paul Jarvis from www.pauljarvis.com.au

His prices are competitive with other printing businesses in Perth, including Fitzgeralds, however he offers a more bespoke, personal service. I am oh so happy with the service I have received today & I just wanted to share xx

Oh & the photo of my photos is compliments of Paul Jarvis.
