Missing Noah

Richard is going to be in Perth for a few days. Tonight I put Noah on the phone to talk to his Dad. Richard said that listening to Noah's voice made him miss Noah so I said I would post some pics just for him. We are missing you too Richard xoxo

This happened about 3 minutes after you left yesterday!!!

Off to Nanna's

Every Tuesday Richard's Mum Margaret looks after Noah while I work at the school. I think these photos show just how happy he is to get to Nanna's house and for Mummy to go to work. He seriously couldn't care less that I am leaving him; breaks my heart. I am not quite too sure what they get up to every Tuesday but I do know that they have a very busy schedule visiting all of Nanna's friends, shire meetings, CWA etc etc. Noah is quite the little social light while he is with his Nanna. More people in Tammin know who Noah is than who Samara is!!! Tuesdays are also library day. Exchanging library books is their special job to do together.

With his library bag

Waving bye bye.....Notice how he doesn't even bother to turn around :(

It must be Autumn

A bit of cooler weather has finally arrived. It has been a long hot summer so we now think that any temp below 35 degrees is freezing. Because Noah wants to be outside playing at "sparrows fart" I have had to rug him up. I had forgotten what he looks like with clothes on; damn cute!!

Yesterday the boys used the loader forks to carry the huge bails of hay to feed our sheep. Noah thought it was fantastic.

Noah's poor little pigeon toes and bow legs get in his way all the time. He is always taking little tumbles.

This weekend Noah was also attacked by our hen named Francis. Francis is the only hen we have named as she is the only little red hen and easy to distinguish. The boys came back from being up at the sheds; Richard was laughing and Noah was crying. I knew straight away that it was probably the chooks that had caused the commotion but I thought that perhaps a rooster had attacked Noah. I was surprised to hear that Francis had flown at Noah, landed on his back and savagely attacked him. Noah even had a little war wound; a bloody elbow. He wasn't even stirring them up or anything. He was devastated because he couldn't understand why someone (or something) would hurt him. He still wanted to come with me to feed the chooks today which was very brave of him.
So no one got back to me about wanting a rooster....even if you want to cook it.... getting desperate here!!

Way too cool for school

Gardening

The little project that Richard, Noah and I have been working on is now finished. We are really happy with how it turned out. Richard did such an awesome job; I am extremely happy with him!! The shade cloth will hopefully keep out some of the dust, wind and of course the sun. I will also now be able to grow some of the plants I love. My own little piece of the tropics.....

My little step nephew Fin

This is my new little step nephew Fin Derrin and he is totally adorable. He is about 7 weeks old and on Sunday we met him for the first time. Noah loves he new little cuzzy.

Introducing Clancy / Sqwid Jnr

On Friday Noah and I went to visit our friends Ruth and Sqwid and we met their lovely new baby boy Clancy. He was a little darling the whole time we were there. I got to enjoy lots of cuddles and Noah enjoyed looking at Clancy. Ruth was doing an amazing job as a new Mummy. She most certainly did not look like she gave birth only one week ago. Richard and I hope to share many special times with them and we look forward to watching our boys grow up and play together; just like their Dads did before them.
