Garden

Richard layed some pavers, pea gravel and made a garden bed down the east side of our house. It looks really good. How clever is he!!!

All my hibiscus have been struggling since I planted them 3 years ago. Finally they are looking healthy and flowering on mass.

See Mum, the Begonia you bought for me is still alive xoxo

All tuckered out

All this Christmas business must be very tiring. What a little angel.

Tammin Christmas Tree

Every year the Tammin community has a Christmas Tree gathering for all the children. This year a few of my friends organised it. Last week they went to Perth and got a gift for each of the children in Tammin. In one day they travelled to Perth and back again and bought 94 presents. What an amazing effort. The children were all thrilled with the present they received from Santa. Noah thought the whole experience was fantastic and he was VERY comfortable around Santa Claus this year.

Going up to get his gift from the big man in red!

Freddy's sore foot

Last week we noticed our cat had a sore foot. We ignored it for about 3 days until guilt got the better of us and we took him to the vet in Northam. Although our vet is lovely we hate going there as we know it will end up costing us a fortune. Turns out Freddy's paw had a tiny puncture wound in it. He had a needle, had his foot cleaned and bandaged and we were given some antibiotics to give to him. $210 later Freddy is doing just fine. Personally I think he would have recovered on his own. His bandaged foot looked pretty cute anyway!!

Noah's favourite

The city of Perth sure does put on a great show for the kids and their parents. Noah and I had a great morning with some of our friends. We will definitely be going back again next year. Noah watched the whole parade and cheered for every single float, dancer and clown. He had a ball!

Bring it on

We are nearly set to go for Christmas. Shopping done and this year we are having Richard's family join us for lunch at our house; not the huge Rogers Christmas but just enough people to fill this little house. I am looking forward to hosting Christmas this year and I am hoping Richard will help me out by getting the place to look stellar. Nothing like having a house proud hubby!!!!

This is the very first year that Noah is aware of Christmas. Let me tell you.. he gets how it works, who Santa Claus is, what he brings and when he comes! He is feeling oh so festive and his enthusiasm for Christmas is contagious.
Richard eyeing off Noah's Advent Calendar. Can you believe he didn't know what it was? Excited that he finally worked out how it worked he exclaimed "I see now, but what do you do for 25?" Errr I don't know.....CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS MAYBE
How lucky am I that every year from now I will have the cutest little helper to help me decorate. I wonder if he will be as happy to do it naked when he is 10 years old?

Ta-da. Hope you are getting into the festive spirit everyone.

Deplorable behaviour Noah

Angry beyond words about this hole in the new wall.
