Up North

Noah and I are currently making our way down the West Coast. We are having a ball with Brooke. Here are some of my favourite photos from the trip so far.

Can you tell I have a bit of an obsession with Boab trees?

Feeling festive

We are trying to get into the festive spirit here but man it is hard with so much on. I know everyone feels the same. The years seem to get busier and busier in December. It will be nice when everything returns to a normal pace again in January. Noah and I are escaping the hustle and bustle of it all and heading up north to see Brooke. On Wednesday we will be leaving on a jet plane for the adventure of a lifetime. Noah doesn't know this yet but...............

W E   A R E   D R I V I N G   B A C K   F R O M   K U N U N U R R A

He is going to be so mad with Brooke and I after the first day in the car.

But the places he will see will be incredible and the things he will do will be amazing.

I am sure the things he thinks of to keep himself entertained in the car will be U N I Q U E.

I need to get my A into G and get busy. I need to wrap everything and have gifts organised before we leave as there is every possibility we won't be back until Christmas Eve.

Other news..... My house got painted by my step Mum Den and her bestie Sue. Now I like to think of myself as a worker, someone who is never afraid to get in there and get my hands dirty. My step Mum Den takes the the term 'worker' to the extreme. There is not much this woman can't do. She has worked so hard over the years in so many different fields. Den and Sue got the house painted in 2 days. They were up at 4am the first day and then 5am the second. They really are amazing and I will be forever grateful xoxo

This is to prove that I did help. It was bloody hard and bloody scary up there!!

A storm was a brewing

These harvest photos were taken at my Uncles' farm at South Doodlakine. The storm created quite a bit of excitement amongst us all, especially when we thought another fire had started due to lightning strike.

 Mitch watching the lightning.

This photo was taken when the boys thought they would be off to fight another fire.

Not sure what Mitch is up to here? A bit too long on the header perhaps?

My cousin Jarrad is staying at our house for a few days. He enjoyed being at my Uncles' farm for the afternoon.

Yes Noah has had a hair cut!

Another day, another Santa

Noah attended three Christmas parties last week. His diary is choc-a-bloc full with fun festivities. His social life is WAY better than mine!! These photos are from the Tammin Community Christmas Tree, which was held at the oval last Saturday night.

Tammin Playgroup Christmas party

I know I take too many photos of Noah but I do it for his Nanna Dee.

 Sophie
Playgroup leavers 2011. Off to big school next year.
Now this was bloody funny. When the kids heard Santa coming they rushed off so quick. Check out the way they left the tables. I love how one of the babies has just dumped their bottle of milk too!

Here he is...... arriving in style
 Armed with gifts
 Santa's perspective.
 Check out Sophie's hat.
Kaylee wasn't a fan of Santa Claus.
 Time to go.
