We are in Melbourne
Richard, Noah, Mum and I flew to Melbourne last Thursday. When we arrived in Melbourne we said goodbye to Mum and Noah who went off to spend time with some relatives of mine. Meanwhile Richard and I went to the Stamford Hotel where we met up with some of our friends. We had such a fantastic time with them all. My cheeks were sore from smiling by the end of the weekend. Here are just a few pics from Melbourne so far.

Chop chop. See you later big ugly pepper tree
Richard went to town on this big old tree a few weekends ago. Once he started chopping he just couldn't stop. We worked pretty hard all day carting the wood away and clearing the tree off the back fence, meanwhile Noah plonked himself in front of the tv for the day. It was a little disappointing that Noah excluded himself from all the action. The smell of wood being cut brought back heaps of childhood memories for myself; my Dad would spend many a weekend chopping trees down when I was little.

Gross
Cool Noah has just been diagnosed with school sores................on his face. Any takers for a play date?? If that is not enough for you then how about a viral throat/chest infection. C'mon Amanda, Tanya or any other Tammin Mums - live on the wild side and bring your kids on over!!!
This was taken before it got severely bad. May post another pic later.
Introducing Bob
Nanna & Pa Carnaby got Noah a budgie + a cage for his birthday. Noah named him Bob. Lets just say it was probably the best day of Noah's life when he was gifted the bird and quite possibly the worst day ever for Bob.

The creek in the park
Playing in the little creek at Kalamunda Park would have to be one of Noah's most favourite things to do. I am not sure if children are actually meant to be playing in the creek as Noah is always the only kid who is actually down there, but I figure if he enjoys it then why not. The more water and mud the better.

I love this picture of Noah, just a shame he has a festering lip and his beanie is casting a shadow over his eyes.
The only bucket at Nanna Dee's was a Barbie bucket. Playing with shutter speed...
