Look at my poor, neglected child still in his PJ's @ 5:30pm (from the night before). Last Thursday I had a "I can't be bothered day." The best bit was definitely having a fire that evening. Lighting fires (with his parents) is a new obsession of Noah's.

it was a bit too easy really....
After photographing my first ever human, who has had some modelling experience, I have come to the conclusion that photographing models is an absolute walk in the park. The photographers who get paid the massive bucks to fill up those glossy magazines really are on a good wicket and actually don't have to try that hard to get great shots. Clarissa is an absolutely beautiful girl who looks great from every single angle - limbs that go on for days!
I must admit that the challenge of pinning down a great shot of an uncooperative three year old is probably one I will never tire of. It's a great feeling when you know that the last click your camera made, just captured a moment in time that the parents will go on to appreciate forever. Not letting a three year old beat you in a photographic stand off feels pretty damn good too.

Being a Wheeldon entails......
Swimming in the winter & perfecting underwater summersaults.
Being a still subject so people with new lenses can test them out.
Lighting fires with neighbours & burning chops.
Getting our heads around what it will be like to be a family of four. Some are coping better than others.
Sharing in birthdays - special 1st birthdays xoxo
Discovering new & unlikely photo haunts.
Hanging with cute little cousins.
Accepting new cuddly gifts from one of the best Nanna's in the whole world.
Some light posing. Love your work Addison Jade xxx
Sheep work on the motorbike (with Nanna in tow)
Letting the new psycho puppy off the leash to do his first (proper) bit of sheep work in an open paddock. Jimbo surprised us all and actually did a good job.
Below is a photo of what we were hoping Jim would grow up to look like - UNFORTUNATELY he does not - but he is ours - and we love him regardless.
Snuggles with the beautiful, placid one - Bonnie.
Filling sheep feeders in front of crowds.Being a still subject so people with new lenses can test them out.

the nicest ones always leave
The Gray family are leaving Cunderdin and their beautiful property behind to broaden their horizons in Perth. They wanted some family photos taken around their property, I guess so they can remember exactly how special it was living there for the last five years. This family is as lovely on the inside as they are photogenic - seriously, how lucky am I to get such a good gig!
Having only become friendly with Jaynee is the last couple of months, I feel sad that they are now leaving. It really does feel like the BEST families always move away.
