Between Christmas & New Year

We have been at home since Christmas night which has been really nice. The hot weather (47 degrees C) has kept us inside most of the time but there has been some nice weather and amazing sunsets. The beautiful pink sky was due to huge bush fires within the state. We are thinking of all those people affected by the fires.

Noah is busy playing in his sand pit. The sand pit has been around for a while but Richard originally filled it with yellow sand. The yellow sand kinda turned into concrete so we had to dig it up and replace it with nice white sand. Richard used the loader to fill up the sand pit. He actually bogged the loader on the other side of the farm while getting the sand for Noah. He had no phone or 2-way radio so he had to walk back to the house in the stinking hot weather. Richard thinks that Noah better not ever complain about this new white sand!!!!

After a swim Richard wrapped Noah up nice and tight while saying "look at my little new born". Noah is struggling with all his might to wriggle his way out.

His new paddling pool

The amazing sunset. Richard and Noah went to the top of a hill to watch the electrical storm and to check for any spot fires on our property.
