A little project we have been working on for Aunty Brooke because we don't want her to feel lonely all the way up there on her own!!
The Tea Party
Catching up on some much needed ZZZZ' s
We are back at home now and slowly getting back into the swing of things. Nothing brings you back down to reality quicker than dust, dead plants and dead mice. Noah was a little angel for us in the car on the way home. We were on the road for about 7 hours and he was such a good boy the whole way. He didn't get car sick again thank goodness. Noah is stoked to be home again. I was worried that he would be bored out of his mind after being so busy in Kalbarri with his cousins and the beach but he seems to be really content. He has spent a great deal of time in his cubby house. He has had several tea parties since we arrived home and this afternoon Richard joined him for a cuppa. It was pretty cute. We set up his paddle pool this arvo so he could have a play while we did jobs around the house. It is really cool because he can't get out of it yet so we use it as a make shift play pen. Richard was washing the car and had his eyes on him the whole time while I went mad cleaning inside the house. Noah has had some major sleep-ins since we got home. This morning he woke up at 9am. He must be happy to be in his own bed again. Noah has started to talk! He is saying quite a few words now and he is having a go at repeating most words that you ask him to say. While in Kalbarri we were having a BBQ with friends when out of the blue Noah said "Razzle". Much to Jye's delight he also started saying "Jye." Some other words he has mastered include "Dad, pub, juice, up, no, Si (for Sienna), Pop and hello." He still won't say "Mum" and if I ask him to say it he says "pub" instead.
I go back to work at Tammin Primary School on Tuesday. I am still only working one day a week this year. Noah will be very happy to see his Nanna Margaret again. No doubt he will have a great time bossing his poor Nanna around while I am at work.
