Don't speak too soon
Baby no more
5 months ago I had a baby boy whom was always dressed beautifully, clean and never had snot coming out of his nose. Now I have a mini person who is always naked, always dirty and always snotty. Noah spends his days doing things that I use to think were funny when other people's kids did them. My little baby has grown up and I miss him dearly but would I ever go back?????? Not a chance. It is so true when people say it gets better and better. But seriously Noah you can keep your clothes on sometimes.
Out of sorts
We have been a bit out of sorts here. Noah came down sick last Sunday night and he has only just fully recovered today. His behaviour on Sunday and Monday was terrible so I should have known something was up. Noah always get naughty when he is coming down with something. He was feverish, emotional and tired. I was sympathetic towards him but it wasn't until Thursday lunch, when I got sick myself, that I realised just how terrible he must of felt. I know the word "flu" is often way over used but I can safely say that Noah and I had the flu and it was bloody nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway I am feeling much better now and it is so nice to be able to get up and back into things. The photo above shows just how miserable poor little Noah was. Fingers crossed that Richard doesn't get it because he is a man and no doubt he WOULD die from it.

Our lovely little neighbours
Our little neighbours Rohan & Campbell turned two on Tuesday. Today they had a cake at Playgroup and the cake was totally awesome. Rohan & Campell are twins. They have two older brothers so that is a total of four little boys living under the one roof. Rohan and Campell will be in the year group above Noah. No doubt there will be plenty of play dates in the near future.
It was nice to see all the Mums again at Playgroup.... and the kids of course.

Home again
We are back at home now and slowly getting back into the swing of things. Nothing brings you back down to reality quicker than dust, dead plants and dead mice. Noah was a little angel for us in the car on the way home. We were on the road for about 7 hours and he was such a good boy the whole way. He didn't get car sick again thank goodness. Noah is stoked to be home again. I was worried that he would be bored out of his mind after being so busy in Kalbarri with his cousins and the beach but he seems to be really content. He has spent a great deal of time in his cubby house. He has had several tea parties since we arrived home and this afternoon Richard joined him for a cuppa. It was pretty cute. We set up his paddle pool this arvo so he could have a play while we did jobs around the house. It is really cool because he can't get out of it yet so we use it as a make shift play pen. Richard was washing the car and had his eyes on him the whole time while I went mad cleaning inside the house. Noah has had some major sleep-ins since we got home. This morning he woke up at 9am. He must be happy to be in his own bed again. Noah has started to talk! He is saying quite a few words now and he is having a go at repeating most words that you ask him to say. While in Kalbarri we were having a BBQ with friends when out of the blue Noah said "Razzle". Much to Jye's delight he also started saying "Jye." Some other words he has mastered include "Dad, pub, juice, up, no, Si (for Sienna), Pop and hello." He still won't say "Mum" and if I ask him to say it he says "pub" instead.
I go back to work at Tammin Primary School on Tuesday. I am still only working one day a week this year. Noah will be very happy to see his Nanna Margaret again. No doubt he will have a great time bossing his poor Nanna around while I am at work.
