Noah update

I have been meaning to update what Noah has been up to for quite a while now. I am sure some people must think I am mad and totally obsessed with documenting Noah's life, but for me it is a joy.

I have just come through a really rough patch with Noah. Richard and I have endured a month of terrible behaviour, which started when we arrived back from our holiday to Melbourne. We assumed for a while that he was getting sick, then we put it down to being so spoilt by EVERYONE while we were in Victoria, but we now think it may have been growing pains. Whatever the problem was he sure is over it now THANK GOODNESS. He started to eat like a horse again about a week ago + he threw in a few 3 hour day sleeps and you can see in his clothes that he actually has grown quite a lot. I really thought for a while there that I had lost my little Noah forever, but I am pleased to say he is back again and more delightful than ever. He really did have me reaching breaking point for a while there. He was making me be the Mum I didn't want to be.... always yelling and fighting with him and too annoyed to do anything fun with him. Even the Nanna's saw him being revolting which is pretty rare.

Noah has come along way with his talking in the last few months. He can now communicate with everyone and no longer needs me to translate every single thing for him. He is busy training his budgie to say "hey Bob, what's for dinner?" Some of Noah's latest one liners include: "yeah sure, of course Mummy, I love you too Mummy, thanks mate and ima punch you in the nuggets (not one of his kindest phrases). His favourite game to play outside is 'shops' in his cubby house. Generally he is the shopkeeper and on a good day he will ask you how your kids are going and what you're cookin for dinner. He is obsessed with the wii, my phone and playing Play School games online. He is VERY handy with the mouse and continues to surprise us with 'stuff' he teaches himself on the computer. Every morning after breakfast he sits in his little art nook and gets all creative. He has a spa nearly everyday. He has an obsession with telling the time, or more to the point asking the time and he loves anything to do with boxing. At three and a bit his favourite TV show is Shawn The Sheep (Thanks Uncle Jim for showing him that one, it really is quite good viewing for us too). His favourite song at present is Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO. He is getting much better at dancing in public, in fact he is quite the little performer now. His favourite colour is pink and he actually believes that if he drinks too much Coke his doodle will fall off!!!!!!!! He loves going on the motorbike with his Dad and his best friend is still Bonnie our dog.

Noah & Ruby

Happy Fathers Day

More fun in the potato patch

Noah had Ruby over for a play yesterday. They were extremely busy all afternoon. Here are some photos of them digging their little hearts out.

Finally got the paints out again and......

Got to try out my new camera. I was very lucky this year for my birthday. My Dad and Den gave me some cash to get a new camera and lens. I am stoked with my purchase and can't wait to get better at using the camera and adding to my lens collection. I am also struggling with the new imac  Richard got me for my birthday. I really did get spoilt this year. It was more like 'happy gadget day' rather than happy birthday!!! In between home renos and educating myself on using my new toys there hasn't been a lot of spare time.

The babysitter

Our neighbours recently left us in charge of their pet lamb Daisy. I thought I actually wanted to have another pet lamb, but after having this one for only 2 nights I decided that it was no longer the case.

Noah enjoyed looking after Daisy.

Dowerin Field Day

We went to Dowerin on Thursday for the field day and to see Richard while he was working for Superfert. Highlights: the green dinosaur thingy, ride on the horse carriage and patting the little pigs. Oh and to the cop that pulled Richard over on his way home and issued him a $100 fine for having his fog lamps on, you are a total dick head and a warning probably would have sufficed!

Um is this bad?

Noah asleep with my iphone between his legs. I would say he has a slight addiction to my phone.
